The C-5 Always Breaks Down

The C-5 is an amazing plane. It can carry almost anything. With 36 pallet positions and the ability to carry oversized and outsized cargo like tanks and satellites, it is a beast of an airplane. That is when it works. The C-5 is also known for always breaking down quite frequently. The C-5M modernization program has helped but aircrew still love to rag on ole’ FRED.
