Fly West, Baby Boeing: Retirement of a 737 Classic

IMG_20160829_192846098_HDR-01However, on August 28, 2016 after a landing here in LIT (Little Rock, Arkansas) that ended with a maintenance delay and eventual cancellation of the outbound flight to DAL, it was decided she had had enough and no more money would be put into her upkeep. She was retired from passenger service later that day while sitting in here in Arkansas. Two days later she would fly to the maintenance hangar in DAL to begin the retirement process followed by her final flight August 31, 2016 when she went to Tuscon, Arizona to be permanently parked and will eventually be scrapped.
